Caxambas Pass is also nowhere near the same as the charts, either. A really good example of how dramatically different reality is from the NOAA charts is Bunces Pass just north of Fort Desoto. You can see how much the shoreline has changed since the charts were first drawn. Truth be known,where it was off you are in the channels and if not you would be in the Mangroves. There also is about 4 or 5 years differance between the Blue charts and google earth. The places it was off the most was in the interior of the Everglades were it got very twisty and a lot of cover. I did go through and change the route to reflect the Google earth maps.
